Gallery Comics Installation "Blind Date" Unveiled at OsCene II
C Hill steps into the realm of art installations with his latest gallery comics, Blind Date, opening at the OsCene II exhibit at the Laguna Art Museum (Oct. 29, 2006 through Jan. 21, 2007). It is boldly bookended with two large pieces that says "IGNORE ME" and "NOT ME!" Made of 11 panels ranging in sizes from 3' x 4' down to a very intimate center panel of 2.25" x 3" panel, Blind Date explores the themes of chance encounters, seduction, deception, and destruction, all the while playing with scale and the power of suggestion.
